Upton, a product of the Coventry Junior Academy, is back for his fourth season with the NIHL Blaze.
Upton has been in and around the Coventry Junior System since the 2015/16 season, playing for the U15 Blaze side. Upton would make the jump to U18 in 2018, where he iced for the U20 Blaze side that season, also.
Upton would continue that for the following season which included him being given the assistant captaincy for his last two junior seasons.
In 2021, Upton would sign full time with the NIHL Blaze and has since iced in over seventy games in which he has scored four points for the team.
