Team GB Women U18's headed to Riga in Latvia with five games ahead of them, with only one thing in mind - to win Gold and Promotion.

GB would face Kazakhstan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Latvia and Chinese Taipei in the Womens World Championships with Head Coach Sean Alderson, leading the way.

GB would kickstart their tournament with three straight wins: 3-1 over Kazakhstan, 3-0 over Netherlands and a convincing 16-1 win over New Zealand. Latvia would be the next opponent and the biggest game of the tournament as a win would seal with the gold medal and promotion.

A goal late on, with 4 minutes to go from Ruby Newlands would seal the deal for the GB U18's Women for the gold and promotion toboot.

They would beat Chinese Taipei 10-2 on the final game day and would finally get their hands on the gold medals they clinched the night before.
