IDP Coventry NIHL Blaze are pleased to announce the signing of 17-year-old forward, Ollie Dixon, for the 2024/25 season.

Dixon, who recorded 10 points (8 goals, 2 assists) in 18 appearances for the NIHL Blaze last season, steps up from the Academy’s U18 side for whom he registered 23 points (10 goals, 13 assists), and 6 penalty-minutes in 14 appearances last season.

On signing for the NIHL Blaze Dixon said…

“I am really excited to be joining the NIHL Blaze this season, it will be my first year as a full-time Senior and after the success the team had last season I’m hoping I can help the team to even greater success.”

NIHL Blaze Head Coach, Sean Alderson said…

“I’ve worked with Ollie for a number of seasons now, last season with the NIHL and prior to that whilst I was coaching the U18 and it’s great to now see him making the transition into senior hockey.”

“He possesses good speed, a great work ethic and has a desire to learn so I look forward to working with him again.”
